Seventeen municipalities of Colombia, from the 44 towns that are now considered as cultural heritage, the 17 are the first in conforming the network: Barichara, San Juan Giron and El Socorro in Santander, Honda in Tolima, Santa Cruz de Lorica in Cordoba, Santa Cruz Mompox in Bolivar, Monguí and Villa de Leyva in Boyaca, La Playa de Belén in Norte de Santander, Salamina and Aguadas in Caldas, El Jardín, Santa Fe de Antioquia and Jericó in Antioquia, Ciénaga in Magdalena, Villa de Guaduas in Cundinamarca and Guadalajara of Buga in Valle del Cauca.
There is the expectation that the network will get strengthened and positioned itself as a tourist proposal to the municipalities with a declaration of Cultural Interest of national grade through a systematic process that is planned in the medium term.
