In the Boyacá department, on June 12th of 1572 was founded the city known as Villa de Leyva. This beautiful land, today recognized by being a truly cultural and touristic center of the country that is narrated about history, culture, nature and archeology; makes part of the historic memory of our country thanks to its architectonic and cultural heritage that turn it into a tourist attraction for all the visitors from around the world.
